[ He can hardly believe that he's giving serious consideration to an idea which, if run by anyone else on the ship, would earn him a dogpile of people trying to stop him. ]
Best case scenario, it's all real and then he's kind of screwed. Someone, or somewhere, was going to get destroyed by a time wraith. Worst case scenario, it's not real, something goes wrong, and he dies. Also the Waverider is down a jumpship.
So it's a win/win, right?
Rather than attempt a reply, Mick goes and does what needs to be done. Which means Leonard Snart is probably storming down some city street in the dark and the rain, furious, when a space-ship the size of a city bus suddenly outpaces him and lands in the intersection ahead of him.
[Len is making his way downtown, walking fast through a pretty quiet side of town, out of sight and inconspicuous. Of course all of that sort of gets blown out of the water when some sort of ship glides through the street to land at an intersection ahead of him.
He stops, blinking and staring, wondering if he should run or just pull his weapon and hope for the best. What if he's seeing things? Of course the place doesn't get enough foot traffic that anyone else is seeing this but him. No doubt anyone else walking by would've whipped out a phone and started recording by now. Not like Central City hasn't seen their fair share of weird, but never aliens...(not yet anyway)
He pulls his cold gun and it whines to life, watching the thing closely and approaching it with caution, giving it space while waiting to see who steps out. He's just about to text mick and warn him.]
[ The door to the ship hisses importantly and flips up, revealing a blue and chrome interior. At first there's an absence of life to continue to build the suspense, then...
Mick appears in the doorway, leaning out expectantly. He probably appears older than Leonard's ever remembers him being, but it's certainly him, dressed in long sleeves and suspenders. There's a brusque come-hither gesture with a gloved hand. He looks a little annoyed, but inside there's quite a mess of things going on. ]
Come on. Before we get stuck on every morning show between here and Star City.
[ He may be under exaggerating things just a little...
When Leonard gets closer, Mick's expression breaks. He leers at the younger man. ]
Sorry I kept you waiting... You don't know how hard it is catching a cab to steal looking like I do at this time of night.
[Len freezes, putting his phone away and lifting his gun to angle it at the doorway, creeping a step back just in case. Then a form emerges and he very nearly drops the weapon. For a moment he hesitates, wondering if whoever this is is a doppleganger, what if this alien just LOOKS like Mick. He's just staring at the man, studying his features and everything from a safe distance, confused and untrusting.
Until the other makes that snide remark. Blue eyes sweep the street before his gun powers down and he'll bee-line for the door way and up the ramp to his partner. Who, up close, looks much older than he remembered, more worn and weary. He's definitely forgotten being angry but he's still soaked to the bone. It hadn't be raining the whole time, but just long enough. Little does he know that he's not even in his own timespace anymore and thats why Mick didn't arrive on time.
He'll move inside, following Mick without a word, only watching him, studying him, curious and confused by all of this. He takes a seat with his gun at his side and his prize tucked into his parka.]
What is all this?
[There's so many questions, but he figures Mick can and will explain everything, so that's the best one to kick it off. The whole conversation was strange and then the guy shows up in a ship, drunk. Because yes, he can smell the alcohol on him and he's not entirely sure he trusts the other driving this thing while inebriated. But if he managed so far... and it's not like HE knows how to fly the damn thing. He just needs to trust Mick, which all things considered is not exactly easy, but he doesn't have much of a choice.]
[ He takes just a small moment to enjoy the totally thrown look on Leonard Snart's face. It hadn't been an easy feat in life. This gesture is a lot more than simply 'over the top'. Still, he observes the other man give in to his curiosity, loyalty, or both. Mick moves back inside as he boards. ]
This? It's a time ship. Sit down and strap in, kid.
[ Mick gestures to the multiple seats with a chest bar as he assumes the captain's seat. It's a term he's always used lightly, even affectionately, between them. Snart was the boss, but he was still the younger man. He was a much younger man now.
With a few small touches, the door shuts and they lift from the ground, slowly arching up towards orbit. He's not going to try anything more until Leonard does what he's told. ]/small>
[Len hesitates, but as the ship starts to move he'll stagger, getting his bearings before moving for one of the seats as instructed. Again, considering the man is inebriated he's all too happy to strap himself in nice and tight. He's got a lot of questions rolling around in his head, namely he's fairly sure this isn't the Mick he'd been waiting for, so there's a part of him wondering where THAT Mick got to. Then again, time right now is a bit messed up for one Leonard Snart. He'd been thrown into said time, younger, reset, unaware of what happened to him. Not realizing his memories didn't match up. He was an anomaly of sorts. So in a way, Mick pulling him out of said time shouldn't disrupt things as badly as he had been thinking. It's hard to say if he can eventually integrate back into their world or not. He's supposed to be dead. ]
Are you going to quit playing games and tell me whats going on here?

Mick, are you drunk? You're acting really strange.

You still at the drop off point?
[ He can hardly believe that he's giving serious consideration to an idea which, if run by anyone else on the ship, would earn him a dogpile of people trying to stop him. ]

Yes. I'm at the drop point. I should've just started walking.
I don't know what's gotten into you and I don't like it. Get your head out of your ass or you and I are done.

He's doing this.

There. Now they can both think they're crazy. ]
